Canva and Postpone

# Schedule Canva Designs with Postpone

Postpone connects to your Canva account so a finished design goes straight from Canva into a post, without downloading it and uploading it again. It is built for creators, brands and agencies who design in Canva and publish everywhere else.

## **Create Social Posts from Canva**

### One Design, a Post on Every Platform at Once

Finish a design in Canva and it can be in a scheduled post moments later, pulled straight into the composer with nothing downloaded or saved to your machine. Pick one page or several, and the same design becomes a post on whichever platforms you publish to, each in the form that platform takes it.

## **Canva Designs in Content Library**

### Keep Every Design in One Library and Never Repost One by Accident

Every design you import lands in Postpone's [**Content Library**](https://www.postpone.app/features/content-library) with the rest of your media, so the month's graphics are in one place rather than scattered across Canva folders and downloads. Label them, search them, and filter to what has never been posted, so a template that turns out near-identical graphics never quietly repeats itself in your feed.

## **Watermark and Edit Canva Designs**

### Brand Every Import on the Way In

Save your logo, handle or website as a watermark preset once and every design you import carries it, with no extra step in Canva. The last adjustments, a crop to the platform's ratio, a rotation, a filter, happen in Postpone's own editor, so a design goes from import to scheduled post without a round trip.

## Everything Postpone Does With a Canva Design

Six things a design can do once it is in Postpone, none of which need a download.

- ### Import Without Downloading

Browse your Canva designs from inside Postpone and pull one straight into a post or the Content Library. The file never touches your downloads folder.
- ### Separate Posts, Not One Copy

Pick the same design for Instagram, Pinterest and X and Postpone makes a separate post for each, with the caption, the link field and the ratio that platform expects, all still editable on their own.
- ### Choose the Page, Not the Whole File

A multi-page design imports every page or only the ones you tick, so the carousel you built as a single Canva file becomes exactly the slides you want.
- ### A Watermark on Every Import

Your saved preset, a logo or up to 500 characters of text in one of six fonts, lands on each design at the size, opacity and placement you set. Make it your default and it applies as each design arrives.
- ### Scheduled or Queued, Not Posted by Hand

A design attached to a post goes out at the time you pick, or at the next slot in a custom schedule, on every platform you chose. Auto-repost can run it again later.
- ### See How Each Design Performs

Every post shows up in analytics like any other, so you can compare designs by likes, saves and impressions and see which template your audience actually responds to.

## Twelve Platforms From One Canva Design

## Connect Canva to Postpone in Three Steps

Connect Canva once and your designs are ready to schedule.

1. 1 ### Connect your Canva account

Link Canva to Postpone once and approve access. Postpone only reads your designs to import them, so nothing in Canva changes.
2. 2 ### Import a design into a post

Pull any design out of Canva and into a post or your Content Library, ready to crop, filter or watermark without exporting it yourself.
3. 3 ### Schedule it everywhere

Pick the platforms, write the caption once or once per platform, set the time, and the design stays in your library for next time.

Questions About Postpone and Canva

How Postpone reads your designs, what happens to them once imported, and where they can go.

### **How do I get a Canva design into Postpone?**

You browse your Canva designs from inside Postpone and pull the one you want straight into the post composer or the Content Library. Nothing is downloaded to your machine and re-uploaded, which is the step this integration exists to remove.

Connect Canva once under Settings, Canva, and the Canva button is in the composers and the Content Library.

[**The Content Library **](https://www.postpone.app/features/content-library)

### **Does connecting Canva let Postpone change my designs?**

No, Postpone only reads your designs in order to import them. Nothing in your Canva account is edited, moved or deleted, and any crop, filter or watermark you apply in Postpone changes the copy in Postpone, not the design in Canva.

[**The Content Library **](https://www.postpone.app/features/content-library)

### **Does my watermark apply to designs imported from Canva?**

Yes, a default watermark preset is applied to a Canva import exactly as it is to a direct upload. That covers both kinds: an image such as a logo, or text like a handle or a URL, up to 500 characters in one of six fonts with your own colour, opacity and placement.

[**The Content Library **](https://www.postpone.app/features/content-library)

### **Can Postpone tell me if I have already posted a Canva graphic?**

Yes, the Content Library tracks which media you have already used and lets you filter down to what you have never posted. For anyone working from a Canva template that produces near-identical graphics, that is the difference between a varied feed and a quietly repeating one.

[**The Content Library **](https://www.postpone.app/features/content-library)

### **Which platforms can I post a Canva design to?**

All twelve Postpone publishes to: Instagram, Pinterest, X, Threads, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reddit, Bluesky, Mastodon and Tumblr. Pick several when you compose and Postpone creates a separate post for each, with that platform's own caption and options.

[**The social media scheduler **](https://www.postpone.app/features/social-media-scheduler)

### **Can I disconnect Canva later?**

Yes, remove the Canva account from the same Settings page and Postpone stops reading your designs immediately. Designs you already imported stay in your Content Library and in the posts that use them, because they are copies Postpone holds rather than links back to Canva.
