### **How do I tell if my Reddit account is shadowbanned?**

Visit reddit.com/appeal while logged in. If your account is fine you will see a message saying there is nothing to appeal; if it is shadowbanned that message is gone and you can file an appeal instead. Reddit never tells you either way, which is what makes shadowbans so easy to miss — your posts still look normal to you and are invisible to everyone else.

Postpone watches the signals that lead there before it gets that far. Your Redditor Score reads your account roughly the way Reddit does, and post validation, repost protection and frequency warnings catch the individual posts most likely to be removed.

### **What does Reddit look at when it decides an account is spamming?**

Eleven signals, and almost none of them are about which tool you used. Reddit weighs account age, global link karma, per-subreddit link karma, comment karma, whether your email is verified, how many user reports you have collected, how much duplicate content you post across subreddits, how often moderators remove your posts, how many subreddits have banned you, ban evasion, and the use of vote manipulation software.

It also escalates in steps rather than all at once: individual posts get removed, then a warning arrives in your inbox, then a 3 to 7 day suspension, then a permanent one. Severe violations can skip steps. Most of those signals are things you can see and improve, which is exactly what the Redditor Score is for.

### **What is a Redditor Score and what moves it?**

It's Postpone's estimate, out of 10, of how well positioned a Reddit account is to post without being rate limited, shadowbanned or suspended. It sits under each connected Reddit account in your settings and is color coded: 7 to 10 green, 4 to 6 yellow, 0 to 3 red. Open the details for the breakdown.

Five things move it: a verified email address, link karma (500 or more is lower risk), comment karma (500 or more), the share of your posts that get removed, and account age, where anything under 90 days carries more risk. A high score is not a guarantee. Reddit does not publish how its moderation works and changes it whenever it likes, and a first post to a new subreddit can be rate limited whatever your score says.

### **Does Postpone block a post that breaks a subreddit's rules?**

No — it warns you and lets you decide. Postpone validates every post against that subreddit's requirements before you schedule: flair required, minimum and maximum title length, whitelisted or blacklisted link domains, banned or required words in the title, and how recently the same link was submitted. You can still schedule a post that fails, and it will very likely be removed after it goes out.

Validation runs on the Schedule a Post page and on Bulk Import, so a 200-row import is checked row by row. Posts removed by mods as spam are one of the things Reddit counts against your account, which makes this account protection as much as post quality.

### **How does repost protection decide something is a duplicate?**

It checks whether the same or very similar content has already gone to that subreddit inside a window you set. The interval lives in your Reddit default post settings, per Reddit account, and is usually something like 30 days, 3 months or 6 months. Set it to 3 months and Postpone flags any attempt to post the same content to a subreddit it went to in the last 90 days.

It is a warning rather than a lock, and it is the opposite of auto-repost: repost protection stops content going out again too soon, while auto-repost deliberately reshares a published post later on X, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon.

### **Do I need an IP proxy to run several Reddit accounts?**

Probably not, and Postpone does not support proxies either way. Because Reddit posts are submitted by you rather than by Postpone, any proxy would have to be set up on the device or browser you publish from, not inside Postpone. If you manage one Reddit account you almost certainly need nothing at all.

It only becomes a question when you publish for several accounts from the same IP address, which Reddit can flag. Agencies in that position usually pair browser notifications with a session or antidetect browser such as AdsPower, Multilogin or GoLogin, so each client publishes from its own session.

### **My account has already been suspended. What can I do?**

Work out which signal caused it first. Check your Reddit inbox for a message explaining the action, read back through the spam factors and be honest about which ones apply to you, then appeal at reddit.com/appeal if you think Reddit got it wrong. Temporary suspensions usually run 3 to 7 days.

Then fix the pattern rather than the post. Space submissions at least 5 to 15 minutes apart, post to any one subreddit no more than once in 24 hours, vary titles and links instead of reusing the same pair dozens of times, and reply to the comments on your own posts — per-subreddit comment karma is one of the things that makes Reddit less likely to remove you there.
