Images: .jpg and .jpeg, .png, .heic and .heif, and .webp, up to 20 MB. GIFs up to 100 MB. Anything else — .avi, .wmv, .tiff, .bmp — has to be converted first. And if an upload fails with a “Signature expired” error, that is not the file: upload sessions last two hours, so refreshing the page starts a new one. Everything already uploaded is safe. [**Supported file types and size limits **](https://help.postpone.app/content/media-library/supported-file-types) ### **Can Postpone tell me whether I have already posted an image?** That is what the Content Usage Report is for. It records where and when each file has been shared, so you can check before you reuse something. The library also filters on usage directly: Unscheduled, Unsubmitted, Unused (neither), or, for Reddit, Fresh for Subreddit — never submitted to that particular subreddit and not scheduled anywhere. If you post the same content across a lot of communities, that last filter is the one that earns its keep. It answers “what haven’t I shown this subreddit yet” in a click rather than from memory. [**How repost protection works **](https://www.postpone.app/features/reddit-account-protection) ### **Does the Content Library use folders?** No, it uses labels, and that is a deliberate trade. A file lives in exactly one folder, but it can carry as many labels as you like — so the same image can be tagged with the account it belongs to, the campaign it is part of and the subreddits it suits, all at once. Label files one at a time or select several and label them in bulk, then filter by label from inside the post composer when you are picking media to attach. Save a watermark as a preset, mark it as your default, and every new image gets it applied as it arrives — drag-and-drop, file picker and cloud import alike. Only one preset can be the default at a time, and images you uploaded earlier can be watermarked in bulk from the actions menu. Watermarks come in two kinds: text, up to 500 characters in one of six fonts with a choice of colour, opacity, six sizes and nine positions; or an image, usually a logo as a transparent PNG. Two caveats worth knowing before you set a default — videos and GIFs cannot be watermarked, and some subreddits do not allow watermarked images, so check the rules before posting one to Reddit. The Content Library imports from Canva, Google Drive, Google Photos, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box and Flickr, so you browse and pull a file straight into a post without downloading it to your machine first. Your default watermark is applied to those imports exactly as it is to a direct upload. [**See every content source **](https://www.postpone.app/integrations) ### **Can I choose the thumbnail my video shows before someone plays it?** Yes, on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn. Scrub the video and pick a frame, or upload a custom image — except on TikTok, which only allows a frame from the video itself. On Instagram the cover picker appears for Reels and single-video feed posts; on Facebook, for Reels. The cover is saved on the video rather than on the post, so every future reuse of that file from your library keeps it.
