## The FanGrowth Alternative That Won't Get Your Reddit Account Banned

FanGrowth posts through Reddit's API — the same method Reddit is actively cracking down on. Creators are losing accounts. Postpone takes a smarter approach: notification-based native posting that keeps your account safe, gets more engagement, and gives you 12 platforms instead of 5.

## Why Creators Switch from FanGrowth

- ### Automated posting that puts your account at risk

FanGrowth submits posts through Reddit's API and hides behind rotating proxies. But Reddit has been shadowbanning and permanently suspending accounts that use third-party API posting — and it's getting more aggressive.

Postpone uses notification-based native posting instead, because Reddit doesn’t allow automated posting. When it’s time, Postpone opens Reddit with your post pre-filled, and you publish it yourself in about 20 seconds.
- ### Five platform's won't cut it

FanGrowth supports Reddit, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, and X. That's it. No Facebook. No LinkedIn. No YouTube. No Pinterest. No Bluesky, Tumblr, or Mastodon. If you're growing an audience beyond Reddit — and you should be — you'll need another tool for everything else. Postpone covers [**12 platforms**](https://www.postpone.app/platforms) from one dashboard. One content calendar, one login, one bill.
- ### Rough around the edges

FanGrowth launched in 2023 and it shows. Users describe the interface as overwhelming and visually unpolished. There's no subreddit discovery, no in-depth subreddit analytics, no content library, no unified inbox, and no mobile app. Postpone has been building Reddit tools for years — [**subreddit analysis**](https://www.postpone.app/features/subreddit-analysis), discovery, best time to post, [**account safety features**](https://www.postpone.app/features/reddit-account-protection), and [**a full content library**](https://www.postpone.app/features/content-library) — all inside a clean, intuitive interface with iOS and Android apps.

## All the platforms you're already on. Ready to go.

## Everything you need to grow on Reddit. Without risking your account.

- ### Scheduling & Content Calendar

Drag-and-drop calendar, bulk scheduling, and cross-platform posting across 12 platforms. [**Schedule your Reddit posts**](https://www.postpone.app/platforms/reddit-post-scheduler) alongside your Instagram, TikTok, and Threads content — all in one view instead of juggling separate tools.
- ### Subreddit analysis & best time to post

Find the right communities and post when they're most active. Postpone analyzes subreddit activity patterns so you can time your posts for maximum visibility — the same core workflow you rely on now, built on 5+ years of Reddit data.
- ### Built-in AI that actually helps

Generate captions, adjust tone, and get hashtag suggestions across all your platforms. The AI works for any content type and any audience — no need for a niche-specific tool when a [**general-purpose assistant**](https://www.postpone.app/features/ai-social-media-manager) handles the job.
- ### Mobile apps for iOS & Android

Manage your content calendar, check analytics, and get posting notifications from your phone. FanGrowth is web-only — Postpone goes where you go, which matters when notification-based posting means you publish from your device.

### **Can I import my scheduled Reddit posts instead of retyping them?**

Yes, through Bulk Import. Export what you have to a CSV, drop it into Postpone's Reddit template and upload: the columns cover the account, subreddit, title, link or media, flair, the first comment and the NSFW flag, and the preview validates every row before anything is created.

The post\_at column takes a date or a keyword. Type best\_today or best\_4\_days and Postpone picks the best time for that subreddit; type queue\_next and the post takes the next open slot on the account's schedule. Rows that add up to one post across several subreddits share a single slot and are spaced 20 minutes apart behind it.

### **Which platforms does Postpone cover that FanGrowth does not?**

Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, Bluesky, Tumblr and Mastodon. FanGrowth publishes to Reddit, Instagram, Threads, TikTok and X; Postpone publishes to those five and the seven above, from one calendar.

That usually decides itself in practice: the moment part of an audience moves to Bluesky, or the traffic starts coming from Pinterest, a five-platform tool means a second subscription and a second calendar to keep in sync.

[**See all 12 platforms **](https://www.postpone.app/platforms)

### **What does Postpone track for a Reddit post after it goes out?**

Upvotes, comments and total engagements per post, sitting next to the same numbers for every other platform you publish to. Views are the exception on Reddit: Postpone reports views where a platform returns them, and Reddit is not one of those.

Above the post level there is follower growth per account, tag analytics for reading a whole campaign together, and a weekly or monthly email report with your top-performing posts and the period's totals. FanGrowth stops at basic post tracking.

[**Postpone analytics **](https://www.postpone.app/features/analytics)

### **Is there somewhere to keep media so I stop reposting the same image?**

The Content Library, which FanGrowth does not have. Upload in bulk, organize with labels rather than folders so one file can sit in several groups at once, and filter by label when you pick an image while scheduling.

Postpone also keeps track of where each file has already been submitted, which is what lets repost protection warn you before the same image goes back to a subreddit that has already seen it.

[**The content library **](https://www.postpone.app/features/content-library)

### **Can I publish from my phone when the notification arrives?**

That is what the mobile apps are for, on iOS and Android — FanGrowth is web-only. The notification opens the post in Postpone, you tap Open in Reddit, and Reddit's app opens with the title, body or link already filled in. On iOS the subreddit is pre-selected too; on Android you pick it, because Reddit's app will not accept it from outside.

Flair and media are the two things you add by hand, both copied from the post in front of you. Mark it submitted in Postpone afterwards and it leaves your queue and starts collecting analytics. A browser notification does the same job at a desk.
